A Harvest alternative when you do not need a seat
Harvest already does both jobs. It tracks time and it invoices. It also tracks expenses, and the paid plans add team reporting plus accounting and payment integrations. If that is the desk you need, stay.
The reason a solo freelancer looks elsewhere is the bill. Harvest's public pricing lists Teams at $11 per seat each month, or $9 per seat when you pay yearly. Enterprise is higher. On Flex billing, usage above an allowance can be charged on top of the seats. Stint is $7 a month or $49 once, for one person, with no seat count.

Where Harvest is the better tool
- More than one person logs time, or you want approvals before an invoice goes out.
- You bill expenses, send estimates, or want a native Mac or iOS app.
- You want the invoice to push into QuickBooks, Xero, or a card checkout. Stint does not do that.
Where Stint is enough
You work alone. You bill hours. You want the clock and the invoice in one place, and you want the price to stay flat when you add a client. Stint will feel smaller than Harvest on purpose. It does not track receipts, and it does not collect the payment for you.
