Free-plan limits turn on when billing is connected. Until then the desk stays open. Online card checkout is not part of Stint yet.
Questions worth answering first
Can I use it before I have Stripe or Supabase?
Yes. Without those keys, Stint keeps your workspace in a local file. Add Supabase when you want the desk online. Card checkout is not a feature you turn on today.
Does Stint take a cut?
No. The invoice total is yours. You get paid the way you already do, then mark the invoice paid. Stint does not collect a card payment.
What does a client see?
A plain invoice link with the hours, the rate, and the total. You can download a PDF from the same page. There is no payment form.
